August 2019 Baptism

On Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating the baptism of several believers. Their family and friends attended this momentous occasion as they made the bold decision to publicly display their faith in the one true God.

S'mores Night

We had a great night filled with s'mores, snacks, glow sticks, and games! Everyone got to make their very own s'mores and enjoy them by the fire pit! Thank you to all those who helped make this night possible.

Fernwood Shelter Evangelizing 

This event truly was a success. The volunteers from our church were able to reach out to the Fernwood Shelter and evangelize God’s love. Through this event we had a number of souls willing to accept Christ into their lives.

Mothers Day Celebration

When we analyze the life of the mother, we see a very special being, with gifts, with love being the greatest attribute. The word of God, describes her as a virtuous woman. This Hebrew word (hayil) has special meanings. It means, powerful, highly trained, brave, rich, and warrior. The mother rises early, bravely every day, even though the husband is not there, or is, but does not help her, to confront what is necessary for the care of their children that God allowed them to raise. The preparation of the food and take care of all the daily needs in the home. Some do all this, and they also work. As a warrior, she must deal with situations that the husband does not have time to do or does not want to do, or because she is a single mother. Therefore, in this portion, she will be called virtuous, which is a word that goes beyond physical beauty. We know that the woman who fears God will be praised, not only by all of us today in church, but more importantly, by God when she arrives in glory. We love you all very much. Congratulations, mothers, the virtuous women that God has granted us to have.

Resurrection Sunday

We are celebrating the most important event for our faith. Christians have something different from all other beliefs. All religions have one person that started it, like the Buddha for the Buddhists, Muhammad for the Muslims, Joseph Smith for the Mormons, etc... You can find the bones of these men, but only one taught that He was going to be crucified and that He was going to be resurrected on the third day. The tomb is still empty today. Interestingly, note that a rich man like Joseph of Arimathea, offered his own tomb. It was the latest model tomb at that time, dug out of stone with its own entrance and huge stone used to close the entrance. The tomb can be found today in Israel as proof of the resurrection of our Lord. There is no other story of redemption like the one of the man, Jesus, who is all man and all God. He is the Passover lamb that redeemed us upon the cross and resurrected on the third day to give us eternal life.

Celebrating The Life Of A Special Women, Nelfa Aguilera

Let us come and celebrate the life of a special Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Pastora, and friend in Christ. The life and legacy of my mom, Nelfa Aguilera who went to be with our Lord, peacefully at home with our family on Wednesday, January 2nd.

Christmas Special

Join us for our Christmas Special as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We will be singing Carols, eating great Food, and having a service to remember the true meaning of Christmas. This is a great opportunity to come together as a family in Christ.

Pastors Day

Join us as we show our appreciation for our wonderful pastor.  After we have service, we will be headed down the gym for lunch where we will have a diverse array of foods.

Mission Sunday

Join us as we celebrate the diverse cultures within our church and raise funds for Miriam Rodriguez's mission in Cuba. We be having several different groups bring in food from their home country to represent their wonderful culture.

Vigil

All are welcome to join us for a few hours of prayer on Thursday from 9 pm - 12 pm. 

Kids' Night

Starting August 16, Kids' Night will begin! It will be a fun-filled night for kids ages 10 to 14 from 7pm to 9pm. We will be learning about how God made the universe and how much He loves everything about you.

VBS 2018

We had an awesome turn out for our annual VBS this year! Thank you to all the volunteers and staff who made this event memorable for God's children.

Evangelism Day
